Myofascial Release & Stretching
Slow, sustained pressure and guided stretching that restores healthy fascia and gives you back your range of motion.

Where myofascial release & stretching makes the difference.
Myofascial release uses slow, sustained pressure into restricted tissue, combined with active and passive stretching. The goal is to restore glide between the layers, so you move freely again with less effort.
Whole body stiffness that no amount of stretching seems to touch.
Ankles, shoulders and knees that never quite came back after a previous flare.
Pain that keeps returning to the same spot despite treatment.
Runners, lifters and everyday movers wanting to feel free again.
What a session looks like.
Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps every muscle, joint and organ. When it becomes tight or stuck, movement feels restricted, pain patterns become chronic and other muscles work overtime to compensate.
Your myotherapist starts with a real conversation about your history, your goals and how the pain behaves through the week, followed by hands on and movement assessment.
Expect a calmer pace than a typical massage. Your myotherapist works into specific restrictions and holds pressure while the tissue lets go, then takes you through targeted stretches to lock in the new range.
We talk you through why we are using myofascial release & stretching for your presentation, what you can expect to feel and how it fits with the other tools we have.
You leave with two or three simple things to do between sessions so the change you feel today actually holds through the week.
Who it suits.
- Feeling stiff and restricted
- Old injuries that never fully settled
- Chronic pain patterns
- People wanting to move better in sport or daily life
Part of a bigger plan.
Myofascial release pairs beautifully with remedial massage for a mixed session, and with corrective exercise so the new range you gain is loaded and kept. If a specific muscle is very tight, dry needling can help settle it before we work into the fascia. See the conditions we treat for how it fits into full recovery.
I would be lost without the care and knowledge the team have about the human body.
