    What it helps with

Where structural & functional taping makes the difference.

The right taping technique can take load off a painful area, remind your body to move a better way and give you the confidence to keep doing the things you need to do while treatment progresses.

    Joint injuries

Ankles, knees and shoulders that need support while they recover.

    Return to sport

Confidence and stability as you build back into training or match play.

    Postural cues

Simple reminders to hold better position through the working day.

    Pain through the week

Offloading that helps you get through a busy stretch of work.

    Your session

    What a session looks like.

Structural taping uses rigid tape to support joints and offload injured tissue. Functional taping uses stretchy tape to cue better movement patterns and reduce pain during activity.

    01
    Assessment first

Your myotherapist starts with a real conversation about your history, your goals and how the pain behaves through the week, followed by hands on and movement assessment.

    02
    Focused treatment

Your myotherapist chooses the technique based on your issue and what you need to get through in the coming days. Tape can stay on for up to a week and is applied at the end of your treatment.

    Take home plan

    How it fits

    Part of a bigger plan.

Taping is almost always used as the finishing touch on a treatment session rather than on its own. It works well after remedial massage and dry needling, and alongside corrective exercise as you rebuild capacity. See more on the conditions we treat.

Great people who know their stuff. I couldn't do without Kate.
