    What it helps with

Where deep tissue & remedial massage makes the difference.

Regular focused massage reduces muscle tone, improves circulation, breaks up adhesions and helps you move more freely. It also downregulates the nervous system, which is often a big part of chronic pain patterns.

    Lower back pain

Overloaded lumbar and glute tissue from lifting, sitting and driving.

    Upper back tension

Rounded shoulder and mid back tightness from long screen hours.

    Training recovery

Sore, stiff muscles between heavy sessions or after big weekends.

    Postural pain

That familiar late afternoon ache from a body held in one shape too long.

    Your session

    What a session looks like.

Deep tissue and remedial massage use structured techniques to work through the layers of muscle and connective tissue. Pressure is firm and purposeful, and everything is guided by your assessment findings and your feedback.

    01
    Assessment first

Your myotherapist starts with a real conversation about your history, your goals and how the pain behaves through the week, followed by hands on and movement assessment.

    02
    Focused treatment

Your myotherapist targets the specific muscles driving your issue, checking in throughout for pressure and comfort. Most sessions blend deep tissue work with stretching, myofascial release and simple exercises to keep the changes.

    Take home plan

You leave with two or three simple things to do between sessions so the change you feel today actually holds through the week.

    Is this right for you

    Who it suits.

    • Chronic lower back and neck tightness
    • Tradies and desk workers
    • Recovery from sport or heavy training
    • Postural pain
    How it fits

    Part of a bigger plan.

Remedial massage is the base layer of most of our treatment plans. We often add dry needling for stubborn trigger points and myofascial release when a whole region feels stuck. For long standing patterns, corrective exercise is what makes the change last. See more on the conditions we treat.

Fantastic place to go to get all of your muscle problems sorted. Highly recommended.
